Nishi - Silk and Spice Fashion Shoot

18 year old Nishika Samaratunga an A’ Level student of Colombo International School has, today, established a name for herself in the local fashion industry. Nishika’s designs are marketed under the trademarked label “Nishi”, and she has been designing and producing on order for both overseas and local clients, many of whom have accessed her designs through her facebook link,www.facebook.com/nishi.collection

Rhythm N Fashion organized by the Past Pupils’ Association of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya. Rozelle Plunkett, Muthu Imesha, Nadeeka Perera, Aruni Rajapakse, Falan Ranasinghe, Piumi Leeniyagala, Tharushi Dilsh, Harshani Chaturika, Tehani Perera and Piorina Fernando modelled for the show choreographed by Geraldine Bandaranaike.

     Aruni Madusha Rajapaksa won the crown of ReeBonn Miss Sri Lanka Miss Universe 2007 at the glittering pageant held at the Grand Ballroom of the Colombo Hilton. Several mini-pageants were held prior to the grand finale.Miss Sri Lanka Aruni bagged the Miss Hilton Personality, while Udeshi Liyanage won the Himalaya Miss Talent contest. Rajapaksha represented Sri Lanka at the Miss Tourism International Pageant held in China recently and emerged as the first runner-up in the Miss Friendship International title and the first runner-up in the Miss Oceania Contest among the islands in the world......
